Tess & Luna // Portrait Session at Walnut Woods Metro Park
It was so fun adventuring with these two! We were so excited when Tess asked if we'd be willing to take some photos of her with Luna. You know, just filling some picture frames. I told her to meet us at our house and we'd go from there. Little did she know I had a mini adventure planned. I had heard about the Tall Pines's area at Walnut Woods Metro Park and ABSOLUTELY couldn't wait to check them out. It feels like you are in a whole other world! If you aren't afraid of about 2 miles of walking it's just for you!
When Tess & Luna showed up they were in matching scarves. How do you even find matching scarves for you and your pup? Well, Tess decided to simply make Luna's so they could match. I can't even!
Check out their session images below!
I wanted to take a minute to learn a little bit more about Luna! I mean who can resist a cute pups story right??
Tess adopted Luna from the Fairfield Area Humane Society in Lancaster, OH. Luna was part of the Prison PUPS Training Program at Southeastern Correctional Facility. It's a program for active pups to interact, play with, and be trained by the inmates there. The inmates get to use them as therapy dogs so the pups don't have to be in their kennels all the time! But, the best part is that it doesn't just help the dogs it helps the inmates too! I love that!
The Fairfield Area Humane Society is private, non-profit organization, guided by a dedicated board and is an independent organization relying on the generosity of donations. So, if you are thinking about or have thought about adding a new addition to your family, think about the Fairfield Area Humane Society OR if you want to give your time or a donation make sure to check out their website below!
